PRIM Václav Havel L.E.

The limited edition was inspired by a great personality of Vaclav Havel, fighter for freedom and democracy and also the first president of independent Czech Republic.  Watch design is elegant, minimalistic, but with many original details. Enemaled  dial is decorated by hand with a stylized signature of Vaclav Havel and characteristic symbol of heart. In the crown, there is set Czech garnet that also symbolizes heart. On the back cover of the watch case, there are engraved Havel’s birth and passing dates and the serial number of the limited edition.

The watch is equipped with an in-house mechanical movement, that was  - like the watch as a whole – made in the manufacture ELTON hodinarska in Nove Mesto nad Metuji. The bridge of the movement is decorated with inscription HUMANIST, DRAMATIST, PRESIDENT to remind different perspectives of Havel’s personality.

This special limited edition only has 136 pieces, this number symbolizes year 1936, when Vaclav Havel was born. The first ten serial numbers have 18carat golden case, next thirty pieces are bicolor, which means combination of a stainless steel and gold. Last ninety watches are made from stainless steel.
